Spectrum 7 Pillars

Founding 7 Pillar Qualifications “Building a balanced and positive Muslim”

Islamic Qualification

With the influence of globalisation it is more important for our students to understand how to behave in a changing society. No reference could be more suitable other than our Islamic religion. Understanding the Islamic rules and regulations as well as valuing its ethics can be expressed as a lighthouse that guides our students throughout their life.

Academic Qualification

Spectrum uses the international curricula to enable our students to compete with their peers in the educational field. We combine the world renowned Cambridge International curriculum with the Islamic curriculum of Azhar in Egypt aiming at reaching the balanced Muslim character.

Health & Physical Qualification

Spectrum uses the international curricula to enable our students to compete with their peers in the educational field. We combine the world renowned Cambridge International curriculum with the Islamic curriculum of Azhar in Egypt aiming at reaching the balanced Muslim character.

Caring about our students involves both physical and spiritual health. Starting from the morning warm-up exercise, general daily health check, checking on students’ meals, healthy food campaigns to the morning azkar, open discussions, and self-expression are among our daily routine to guarantee that our students are healthily qualified.

Cultural qualification

As a school, we acknowledge the diversity of our students and we understand the importance of promoting cultural awareness. Our Teachers are dedicated to fostering a cultural awareness in their classrooms and they actively demonstrate to students that they genuinely care about their cultural, emotional, and intellectual needs. They learn to reflect upon their own culture, culture of others, and culture in general.

Innovation & Technology Qualification

It is imperative our students are not only taught to embrace the different paradigm development of the digital age but are equipped with the right tools to aid them in becoming digital citizens. Spectrum International School students are immersed in digital technology to ensure they learn how to interact with content, effectively communicate digitally and acquire computational thinking. The digital literacy learning opportunities students gain through the implementation of STEAM at Spectrum International school is immense. Students are able to manage automated systems, synthesise and manipulate data and learn coding and programming.

Psychological qualification

Developing a warm relation with the students helps the Spectrum team to touch certain areas that develop the student’s character psychologically. The student is faced with different situations where he has to deal with life problems and take decisions. The teachers’ role is to highlight options and consequences. Students are trained to be self-confident and accept others’ opinions with great respect.

Sociological qualification

Fortunately, social skills and effective communication can be taught. The foundation of teaching social success in Spectrum International School consists of many distinct skills: Accepting others, listening actively, resolving conflicts, and taking turns. By learning these traits, children can learn how to interact with their peers, maintain a conversation, and develop personal dialogues with their classmates.
