Primary

Spectrum Primary students receive a well-balanced, highly standard education on a daily basis, starting from the morning Quran Session ( Halaqa ) and not ending with flipped classroom tasks and active learning activities.

When it comes to the subjects taught to our primary students, they are Maths, Science, English, Arabic, Islamic, History, Bahasa Melayu, STEM and physical education. Different well accredited curriculums are used, such as Cambridge, Kalemon and Basaer.

All students are provided with Chromebooks in order to give them access to Spectrum digital modules SEM. With personalised google accounts, they can use Google for education applications like Google Classroom, Google Chat and Google meet. They are also able to use the school’s educational modules to practice and access resources anytime and anywhere with ease.

Using such modules has made it possible for students and teachers to smoothly transition from physical learning in school to online and blended learning.

For primary students, we believe education should not be stressful and that’s why our lower primary, year 1, year 2 and year 3 students are assessed through detailed observation, speaking and practical evaluation. Eliminating formal examinations or final tests. However, our upper primary students are assessed through examinations as they do undertake Cambridge primary checkpoint.
