Spectrum International School Students Dive Into AI-Powered Video Editing

At Spectrum International School, we’re always looking for ways to give our students the skills they’ll need in the fast-changing digital world. Recently, our Year 10 and 11 students had the amazing opportunity to explore the power of artificial intelligence (AI) in video editing during a hands-on session at Multimedia University (MMU). This experience not only introduced them to cutting-edge technology but also showed them how AI is transforming the creative process.

Exploring AI in Video Editing

AI is quickly changing how we approach video production. By automating complex tasks, it allows creators to focus on what really matters—storytelling and creativity. During the session at MMU, our students got to try out various AI-driven editing tools, which helped them streamline their work. From automatic scene detection to enhanced sound quality, the tools they used simplified what would normally be time-consuming processes.

Hands-On Learning at Multimedia University

Thanks to the experts at MMU’s Faculty of Creative Multimedia, our students gained practical, real-world skills that they can apply both now and in the future. The training covered everything from the basics of AI in video editing to more advanced features, like AI-driven translation tools that allow content to be adapted for different languages.
