This year’s book week was a great success. Despite it being conducted online, it didn’t affect our students’ excitement and interest to participate in it. The activities were done during the Homeroom sessions and Alhamdulillah, all students from all stages have done a good job in making sure the event went on smoothly. All effort was put into the preparation; from crafts making to storytelling and ended with fun-get-together group photos taken during the session. We had all teachers participate in the event too by taking a photo with their favorite book and they even shared interesting quotes they love from the selected book. It’s really a wonderful experience for all students as they were given the chance and exposure of exploring books, building interest in them when teachers started to let them choose any book they want.
We were all delighted to witness our students’ eagerness as they were going through more books. We believe that they definitely enjoy the book by looking at the colourful pictures, asking questions and to share their favorite part of the book.
